This book holds a special place in my heart because it was written by my beautiful late mother, Reba McIntyre Kindred. What makes it even more meaningful is that she wrote it with me in mind. In fact, she tells readers that the story was inspired by me on the second page. Her youngest daughter, Nicole. I remain deeply honored to have served as inspiration behind one of my mother's most cherished stories. I'd also like to add that this book was voted number one on the best author's selling list in 2012.
This story is more than just a children's book-it's a powerful story that encourages children to embrace who they are, celebrate their uniqueness, and build healthy self-esteem. Through imagination, adventures and heart felt lessons, young readers will learn that happiness begins with loving themselves.
